Inch by inch as you hang on
Clinging to the only thing,
You think you can identify with
Until it takes complete control
All else becomes useless
You continue to exist only for this
Life quietly lose all other meaning
Finally it becomes the thing you know
Sell all your possessions
Sell your dignity
Sell your soul
To achieve, to obtain
This, your drug
Saturated in your body and your thoughts
Feeling the high? Are you not?
When the low comes, you still won’t let go
Collecting these wastes
Filling closets full
Watch as it uses you
Blocking you from escape
Enwrapping you into a tiny bubble
‘Til you suffocate, then
It moves on to another specimen.

Comments are greatly welcome. I haven't written a lot and from the scope of stuff i've written this seems to be the only good non-personal one. I think i'll submit into the Power of the Pen contest just for entry sake. I can't lose anything by submitting, i guess. I know it's not very good or ingenius, but it's the only material i have worth entering, so that should speak louds of the low caliber of my writing. Thankys to all for reading.
